75 km north of Alicante airport approx. 50 min. drive and 130 km south of Valencia Airport, you will find Calpe.

 

In the shelter of the cliff 'Peñón de Ifach', lies the town of Calpe - a well-known tourist destination enriched with a remarkably beautiful nature in the form of the beautiful vegetation, cliffs and clean beaches.

The rock symbol represents the Costa Blanca, and the majestic giant can be viewed from every street corner.

 

The Mediterranean climate is perfect for enjoying nature and various outdoor activities all year round. With hot summers and mild winters, the city has an average temperature of 19ºC.

 

Calpe is a Spanish town in the province of Alicante, located on the coast of the Mediterranean. In 2019, it had almost 23,000 inhabitants spread over 23.50 km². The city's economy is primarily based on tourism and fishing.

Out of the 23,000 inhabitants of Calpe, 60% are foreigners who are happily integrated into the life of the city.

 

The 14 beaches to be found in Calpe are all different. To the north you will find a beautiful walking path that makes its way past cozy and quiet rocky coves.

On both sides of the Peñón cliff you will find the city beaches with golden sand and calm water. Extensive promenades run parallel to the beaches that carry the Blue Flag for their beauty, environmental friendliness and optimal facilities.

Calpe has five small ports with an endless range of activities. The most visited is the port, located at the foot of Peñón

 

In the old fishing village and the colorful historic center, the museums and the well-kept residential areas form a perfect combination of history and present.

 

Fantastic routes run through the natural park 'Peñón de Ifach' all the way to the top. On the walking trail 'Príncipe de Asturias', which runs through the park, one can enjoy the wonderful twilight time.
